Numerical simulation on instable failure process of floor in confined aquifer

In this paper, the instable failure process of floor in confined aquifer is numerically simulated by using Coupling System of Flow Solid in Rock Failure Process Analysis (abbreviated as F-RFPA(2D)) that is recently developed by CRISR, Northeastern University, China. The instable failure mechanism of floor with confined aquifer is analyzed and the position where the water-inrush will happen is predicted. Numerical results are well tallied with those in site phenomena, which indicates that the F-RFPA(2D), as a newly developed numerical simulation code, can effectively simulate the water-inrush of floor with artisan water. Numerical results also prove that F-RFPA(2D) should be acted as a now numerical tool to study the water inrush in floor in confined aquifer.
