The main theoretical perspectives are Transaction Cost Econonomics and Value Creation, combined with blockchain literature in supply chain management. The value in supply chains is influenced by traceability, transparency, and trust. A blockchain positively affects these factors and enables value creation in the form of reduced transaction costs and increased customer benefits.
