Frog larvae cloned from nuclei of pronephric adenocarcinoma.

Abstract Triploid nuclei of epithelial cell cultures derived from a viral induced frog pronephric carcinoma were injected into enucleated eggs of Rana pipiens . Formation of triploid post-neurulae and larvae free of tumors, attests to the genetic pluripotency and reversibility of nuclei from pronephric carcinoma.
