Adaptive quantum state estimation of an entangled qubit state.

The uncertainty on the estimation of unknown parameters of a quantum state can be reduced by using adaptive measurements. Here we perform adaptive quantum-state estimation of the phase in an entangled two-qubits state. We experimentally demonstrate that the adaptive method outperforms nonadaptive methods.
