A system of measuring transferred garbage quantity with photographing image analysis and operating method thereof

PURPOSE: A waste transfer amount detection system using camera image analysis and an operating method thereof are provided to detect accurate transfer amount and speed of waste and utilize the detected information for control of the system. CONSTITUTION: A waste transfer amount detection system using camera image analysis comprises an image module(1304), an image processor, and a controller. The image module, which is installed in a side of a centrifugation unit(1302), takes a moving picture including still images on the state of waste transferred through a transfer pipe(1200) in response to a control signal and outputs a digital signal of the moving picture. The image processor receives an image signal corresponding to the state of waste transferred/not transferred and analyzes gray levels according to unit pixel. The controller receives the analyzed gray levels, detects average transfer amount and speed of waste, confirms the transfer speed of waste compared to the flow rate of air detected by a wind velocity measuring unit, and controls functional units of a waste transfer system(1000) in real time to deliver waste at the maximum transfer speed and amount.
