Due to the advantages of high speed, punctuality and environment protection, subway has received more and more attentions recently. As a high-power and multi- machine electrical propulsion system, the experiments in a real subway train are difficult and expensive. Therefore, the simulations become important before actual implementations. A subway line with permanent-magnet synchronous machines (PMSMs) is modeled using Energetic Macroscopic Representation in this paper and the corresponding control is developed according to the inversion- based control. Some simulation results are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the simulation system.
