The time for suicide

ABSTRACT— Analysis of 25,987 suicides occurring in Italy during the years 1974‐1983 demonstrated a clear diurnal variation, death by suicide being most prevalent between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Reasons and implications are discussed with reference to earlier work on this topic.
