Experimental study of energy consumption and structure analysis of multi-hit screw presses

Multi-hit screw press is a kind of necessary equipment for material forming with continuously lightly or heavily hitting.Friction screw press at present causes large errors in load and has big consumption in energy.The development of new structures of non-frictional disk drive has become the developing direction in this field.By comparing the structure solutions of ordinary and long stroke,analysis was done for the new type of screw press driven by switched reluctance servo motor.The contrasting experiments of energy consumption were done.The result indicates that the new equipment can save energy almost by 70%,the hitting energy is controlled exactly,and the automatic and numerical control production is realized.
