Solar light-emitting diode (LED) street lamp monitoring system

The invention discloses a solar light-emitting diode (LED) street lamp monitoring system which comprises a solar cell module, a system controller, a light sensor, a power supply, LED street lamps, an infrared light-sensing component and a remote data transmission module, wherein outputs of the solar cell module, the light sensor and the infrared light-sensing component are respectively connected with the system controller; each LED street lamp is connected with the output of the system controller; the power supply comprises a commercial power supply and a storage battery; the remote data transmission module comprises a power carrier module or a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) module; the system controller is connected with the commercial power supply by the power carrier module; and the system controller is connected with a GPRS wireless network by the GPRS module. According to the invention, the controller protects the storage battery so as to prolong the service life of the storage battery; street lamps are turned off when nobody passes through and turned on when the infrared light-sensing component senses pedestrians or vehicles; and the solar LED street lamp monitoring system has the characteristics of low power consumption of the storage battery and high energy source use ratio.
