Methodology For Mitigation Of Interferences In The Protection System Of Capacitor Banks In Medium And High Voltage

The purpose of the paper is to analyze the influence of environmental factors, in specific, the ambient temperature on the protection of capacitor banks used in medium and high voltage systems. Propose a new view regarding the relay settings for this type of equipment, considering the traditional protection curves and seasonal "Offset" adjustments, making the protection system adaptive, guaranteeing an effective and selective protection for capacitor banks.
