Modeling and Simulation of GPS Tracking Data

Based on the satellite dynamic theory,the models for GPS satellite and low earth orbit(LEO) satellite are built.Also based on the theory of orbit determination and positioning,the observable models for GPS tracking data are built.Using these models,a method which simulates GPS observations for LEO satellites and stations on the ground using IGS data products is proposed,and the related programs are implemented.The precise results from our examples indicate that simulation tracking data can be used to investigate orbit determination scheme,evaluate orbit determination methods and test the GPS data processing software,validate and compare the GPS processing algorithms.
