Analysis of multi-path channel effect on time-delay estimation in positioning system

Based on the property of underwater acoustic channel,the effect of interface reflection on signal detection and time-delay estimation is analyzed,and the changing rule of the phase difference between direct sound and surface reflected sound is demonstrated.According to the character of two signals addition,the normal signal processing logic is improved.The simulation result shows that this improved logic can advance the detection ability to edge signal,avoid the jump of time-delay estimation and eliminate multi-path influence efficiently.
