Optimized Event-Triggered and Self-Triggered Control for Linear Systems

Optimized event-triggered and self-triggered control are investigated in this paper. Firstly, in order to reduce computational resources, event-triggering mechanism is introduced, and an optimized event-triggered controller is designed according to the optimized time-triggered control mechanism. Secondly, the event-triggering condition which guarantees the system stable are obtained, the system will not exhibit Zeno behavior under the proposed event-triggering mechanism. Thirdly, the self-triggering condition which makes the system stable are proposed. Through the deduction of this condition, the calculation method of the next triggering time is obtained, which will naturally exclude Zeno behavior. Finally, a numerical simulation shows the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed methods.
