Non-monotonic assembly sequence planning method based on knowledge rule and geometric reasoning

As the traditional assembly sequence planning does not consider non-monotone issue, a non-monotonic assembly sequence planning method based on knowledge rule and geometric reasoning has been proposed. Firstly, the non-monotonic assembly process and its characteristics have been analyzed. The figure hierarchy correlation which contains the status information and assembly knowledge has been used to express the non-monotone assembly process information. Based on the assembly information model, a non-monotonic assembly sequence planning method based on knowledge rule and geometric reasoning has been presented, which implements the non-monotone assembly sequence planning.
