Method for transmitting and receiving paging information in wirelss communication system

A method for transmitting and receiving paging information in a wireless communication system is provided to prevent paging messages from being delayed by transmitting paging control information, which indicates the information of a paging message, together in case of transmitting the paging message at a paging occasion. A BS(Base Station) transmits a paging occasion to a UE(User Equipment). Then the BS transmits a paging message and paging control message to the UE at the paging occasion. In this case, the paging message contains one or more paging frames, and the paging control information indicates the information of the paging message. The UE receives the paging occasion. The UE receives a PI(Paging Indicator) during the paging occasion. Using the PI, the UE receives the paging message.
