Analysis of SPWM Control Algorithm for Cells Cascaded Multi-level Converter

The topology of cells cascaded multi-level inverter and its cascade output are introduced.The detailed research and analysis of multi-carrier-type control algorithm for cells multi-level inverters are put forward.Using Matlab software to build the modeling and simulation algorithm of 11-level cascade system.The simulation results show that the cascade multi-level inverters has an excellent control performance by using carrier phase-shiftingt,he voltage waveform is very close to the sine wave and the changing rate of the voltage is very small.The voltage and current output harmonic content and com-mon-mode voltage are small etc.This paper uses DSP and FPGA to generate 30 lines SPWM control signalt,he experimen-tal results of output phase voltage waveform prove the correctness of the simulink results.
