A study of SMO buffeting elimination in sensorless control of PMSM

A sensorless vector control system of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is designed based on Sliding Mode Observer (SMO) by analyzing the model of PMSM in this paper. Using Kalman Filter in the output of Back Electromotive Force (back EMF), makes the waveform smoothly and accurately. It also makes the model more suitable for high-performance application. Some continuous functions like sat(s), continue(s), integral(s), exp(s) are introduced to replace the sign function sign(s). To show the correctness and availability of the proposed control scheme, simulations are carried out and the results are analyzed at last.
