H.26L based error-resilience techniques for video communication

According to the new characteristics of the H26L standard, several error-resilience techniques for video transmission are proposed, including adaptive unequal-protection based on the SEI (Supplemental Enhancement Information) domain, error concealment and interactive error-propagation prevention. Simulation results show that the video quality is obviously improved using the proposed techniques over variable and error-prone channels. Furthermore, these methods are compatible with H26L, and can be used in practice.
