Analysis of Sequential Systems Hazards in Sequential and Combinational Systems

Chapters 4 and 5 showed what a sequential system is, how it can be defined, and gave its equations. The complexity of these equations led to tabulated representations of these machines in the form of a flow table, excitation matrix, and output matrix. The two large categories of sequential systems were mentioned: asynchronous and synchronous.
