Unruptured intracranial aneurysms: a call for a randomized clinical trial.

The devastation caused by subarachnoid hemorrhage, with overall poor results despite advanced care, and the blind faith in progress that characterizes the latter half of the twentieth century have led to aggressive treatment of intracranial aneurysms before they rupture.[1][1] Clearly, however, the
