TREATMENT OF VITILIGO WITH AUTOLOGOUS THIN THIERSCH'S GRAFTS

Vitiligo is a cosmetic problem, more so in dark-skinned individuals. In India, it is a social and matrimonial handicap because o£ prejtidice and ignorance. Considerable progress has been made in Understanding the pathogenesis and controlling the disease process. Repigmentation can be brought about in 60-70% of vitiligenous patches.7. s-n In refractory cases, good results with thin Thiersch's grafts liave been reported. In this article we report on our continuing efforts in modifying techniqtie, difficulties experienced, and results.
