공동주택단지 주거환경 만족도에 영향을 미치는 사용자 특성에 관한 연구

The purpose of this research was to analyze the correlation of the characteristics of dwellers and residential satisfaction in apartment housing through the case study of 614 samples in 13 housing estates which were built in 1994-98. The contents of this research consisted of three main parts. The first part is to identify characteristics of dwellers, which might have an influence on residential satisfaction in apartment housing. The second part was to identify the main physical elements of residential satisfaction that can be influenced by the personal characteristics. In conclusion, the number of a family, the floor level, the size of housing unit and tenure had statistically significant correlations with the residential satisfaction in apartment housing. The housing unit, the size of windows in interior living environments, and the green space, play lot, the parking space, the exclusive space for privacy, the distances of buildings, the openness of estates in exterior residential environments were identified as the main physical elements of residential satisfaction that could be influenced by these characteristics of dwellers. Thus, this research will contribute to the establishment of the site planning methods which increase residential satisfaction in apartment housing, while promoting the quality of residential environment in Korea.
