Demo of ADNETCONF: ADRENALINE's tool for dynamic configuration of GMPLS-based all-optical transport networks

The ADRENALINE testbed is a GMPLS-based intelligent optical network (ION) developed at the CTTC laboratories. It supports the configuration of multiple network topologies involving aspects such as number of nodes, link connectivity or wavelengths. However, given the large size of the testbed (composed of several pieces of hardware each one with its own configuration), manual topology reconfiguration results on elevated time consuming and error-prone processes. In order to solve such drawbacks, the ADNETCONF tool has been developed to provide a more easy an intuitive mechanism for automatically reconfiguring the testbed as well as the configuration of the executed processes (e.g. routing). This paper is focused on describing the main characteristics and a demonstration of the implemented ADNETCONF tool for the ADRENALINE testbed
