A STUDY ON THE DETECTION EFFICIENCY OF IDS

IDS(Intrusion Detection Systems) is obviously playing a more and more important role in network security which has become an increasingly serious problem.But IDS detection efficiency is challenged by the continuous acceleration of network speed and the increasing quantity of network data volume.On the basis of IDS's pattern matching MWM algorithm,this article introduces a kind of improved technology which can obviously help IDS detect packet more efficiently.
