A personal ELT(Emergency Locator Transmitter), a method for the same, an SARS(Search And Rescue System) using the same, and a method for the same are provided to sense an accident accurately and to transmit victim positional information to an SARC(Search And Rescue Center) quickly. A personal ELT(Emergency Locator Transmitter)(100) of an SARS(Search And Rescue System) comprises a satellite signal transceiver(12), a memory(13), a chloridation sensor(14), an impact sensor(15), a manual button(16), a battery(17), and a controller(18). The satellite signal transceiver transmits victim positional information to an emergency positional relay satellite(200) through a satellite antenna(11). The memory stores a device identification number, a GPS coordinate, and an emergency critical value. The chloridation sensor senses a chlorine component value of a material contacting the transmitter. The impact sensor senses an impact value applied in the transmitter. The controller recognizes the emergency according to the comparison of the values and transmits the GPS coordinate and the device identification number to an SARC(Search And Rescue Center).
