GLOBAL INFO - The German Digital Library Project Development and Perspectives

In this article the objectives of the Program GLOBAL INFO which was started in 1997 by the federal government as well as the realized structures to reach the defined goals are regarded. Structure and tasks of the different working groups are described in detail.
