Battery Loss Model based on Weighted KWH Method

Reference [1]-[2] is concerned with the relationship between battery life reduction and cyclic behavior when modeling the loss cost of battery energy storage systems. Usually, the relationship can be obtained by the rain flow counting method. The principle is to accurately count the number of battery cycles including incomplete half cycle and full cycle, so as to calculate the battery life loss. But in reality, the charging and discharging process of battery is very complex, because of partial circulation, incomplete or rare full charge, so it is difficult to solve semi periodic cycle identification, model by business mathematics optimization engine. In order to simplify the modeling process, this paper uses the weighted KWH [3]-[5] to analyze the life characteristics of the battery energy storage system.
