Celem pracy jest omówienie nowoczesnej przedoperacyjnej diagnostyki guzów trzustki i ocena stopnia zaawansowania procesu rozrostowego w narządzie. Tomografia komputerowa jest nadal złotym standardem w diagnostyce guzów trzustki. Jednakże rozwój endoskopowej ultrasonografii (EUS) i rezonansu magnetycznego (MR) pozwala bardziej precyzyjnie kwalifikować pacjentów do operacji. Wirtualna rekonstrukcja naczyń w tomografii spiralnej wnosi nowe spojrzenie diagnostyczne na toczący się w trzustce proces rozrostowy. Abstract
