Analysis on Shielding Effectiveness of Aperture Arrays with Different Spacing

The shielding effectiveness of aperture arrays with different shapes is calculated and analyzed. The influence of the spaces between the adjacent apertures is analyzed. The results show that: when the spaces between the adjacent apertures is larger, the coupling of the adjacent apertures can been neglected , the contours of shielding efficiency of the transmission line method agrees with that of TML method; When the spaces between the adjacent apertures is smaller , the coupling of the adjacent apertures can be strong , the closer the adjacent apertures is, the more the field is coupled into the shielding enclosure, and the shielding efficiency is getting worse, especially in low frequency. But the shielding efficiency contours does not change much. In the same condition the shielding effectiveness of round arrays is minimum. According to the calculation result, suggestions to the shielding are proposed.
