A Range-Free Localization Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks

Distributed localization in wireless sensor networks has attracted significant interest in recent years. In this paper, we propose two improvements towards the DV-hop algorithm: the anchor placement strategy and the weighted DV-hop algorithm. It is demonstrated that our proposals ensure better location estimations, and the weighted DV-hop is expected to perform even better in actual implementations
