A miniaturized wideband power divider

A new miniaturized microstrip wideband power divider is proposed. The divider consists of two-section impedance transformers and two extra transmission lines connected to the output ports. Lumped components are applied to realize the isolation between output ports. The overall circuit size is reduced compared with other previously published work. For verifying the proposed structure, one prototype with the center frequency of 2 GHz was fabricated and measured. The measured relative bandwidth is about 100% from 1GHz to 3 GHz with return loss and isolation better than 20dB.
