Abstract : This conference will address the theme, Strengthening Capability through the Development ofPeople and Technology. The conference will provide a forum for discussing methods to enhancedefense-related capabilities - not only through available technology, but also through developmentof personnel. A broad range of topics related to design and development of technology andtraining and development of people in the gun and missile system industry will be presented.The full scope of gun and missile tactical weaponry and related components will be discussedincluding: direct/indirect/precision fi re systems, tactical rockets and missiles, energetics,effectiveness, modeling and simulation, platform integration and emerging technologies.
