The invention discloses an electrical performance prediction method for a metal truss-type antenna cover in consideration of scattering and transmission, which is mainly used for solving the problem of inaccurate calculation in the prior art. The technical scheme is as follows: the electrical performance prediction method comprises the following steps of: calculating the far field of an antenna according to the calibre field of the antenna, drawing a directional diagram, and extracting electrical performance indexes; calculating the far field generated by the calibre field after passing through an envelope; calculating the scattered field of a rib, adding the scattered field of the rib to the far field generated by the calibre field after passing through the envelope to obtain the far field of the antenna after being covered, drawing a directional diagram, and extracting electrical performance indexes; and comparing the directional diagrams and the electrical performance indexes of the far field before and after covering, if requirements are met, then outputting the directional diagrams of the far field before and after covering, the electrical performance change value after covering, and the structural parameters of the antenna cover; or else, modifying the structural parameters of the antenna cover, and repeating the process aforementioned until the electrical performance meets the requirements. The electrical performance prediction method disclosed by the invention can be used for accurately predicating the electrical performance of the metal truss-type antenna cover, and can be used for analysis and design for the metal truss-type antenna cover.
