MCDM for Candidate Selection in E-Voting

E-votingisoneofthemostimportantcomponentsofe-democracyandformsthebasisofademocratic governancesystem.Votingresultsalwaysleadtoabroaddebateintermsofcandidateselectionand whetherthecandidateelectedtoapositionissuitableforthatposition.Atpresent,theselectionof qualifiedpersonnelandtheirappointmenttoresponsiblepositionsinpublicadministrationisoneof thetopicalissues.InthisarticleisproposedanMCDMforselectionofcandidatesine-voting.Criteria forthecandidates’selectionaredeterminedandtherelationofeachcandidatetoothercandidatesis assessedusingabinarymatrix.Candidateratingiscalculatedaccordingtoallcriteria.Anumerical experiment is provided for candidate evaluation on the base of the selected criteria and ranked accordingtotheimportanceofthecriteria.Theproposedmodelallowsselectingacandidatewith competenciesbasedonthecriteriasetoutinthee-votingprocessandmakingmoreeffectivedecisions.
