A half-century of experience and research with uneven-aged silviculture in loblolly-shortleaf pine stands in the South are summarized in this publication, and silvicultural guidelines for developing and managing uneven-aged stands are provided. This publication should be useful to silviculturists, foresters, and other resource professionals in developing and managing uneven-aged pine stands. It can also serve as a teaching aid in forestry workshops, short courses, and university curricula.
