New Generation TMCP for Plate Mill Based on Ultra-Fast Cooling Technology

Combination of domestic demand for plate production,the ultra fast cooling equipment(UFC) was developed based on the theory of impinging jet cooling.It jet the water with definite pressure and definite angle along the rolling direction which can clear away the film existing between the plate and the cooling water,and make the plate and the water touch completely and achieve nucleate boiling.So the cooling efficiency and the cooling uniformity are significantly improved.The research based on the principle of new generation TMCP on this equipment showed that UFC could improve the strength,the toughness and the comprehensive performance of the steel product.
