Women in Science and Engineering.

With her enthusiastic approval, this Prize has been endowed by her family, friends and colleagues to honor Professor Norma Slepecky who died in 2001. Norma was a very distinguished auditory neuroanatomist. She was also passionate about research and a great mentor for many undergraduates seeking research experience. She strongly supported efforts to increase the numbers of Women in Science and Engineering (WISE). With that background, the Prize will be awarded to a female undergraduate. We are looking for students who are excited about their research and have mentors who advocate undergraduate research and enjoy supervising such experiences.
