Multi Type Variable Optimization Method of Transmission Tower Truss Structure Based on Ant Colony Algorithm

Transmission tower is a high load truss structure, we all know that it is an important life project, and the rational and economic development of transmission tower is a difficult and hot spot in the engineering field. Objective: The purpose of this paper is to optimize the layout variables which has an effect to the transmission tower truss structure, so as to make the truss structure to achieve the most stable state. Methods: In this paper, we used the ant colony algorithm, then, a mathematical model is used to find the optimal path of the ant colony, in this way to simulate the optimal layout of the truss structure. Process: In this paper, we are trying to optimize the truss structure through the principle of ant colony algorithm and its application in the cross section, what’s more, by controlling the other two variables to calculate the optimal solution of the variable, so as to optimize each variable one by one. Conclusion: Through the plane structure and spatial structure of the two examples, we proved the practicability and superiority of the method based on ant colony algorithm truss structure, and it can satisfy the need of engineering.
