사용자 중심의 u-스쿨 교육환경을 위한 조사 연구

This study is aimed at grasping the actual status of education site in preparation for the change in the educational environment by ubiquitous computing and subsequent attitudes of teacher and student who are the actual users. Questionnaire survey was conducted against teachers and students who are the users as well as site survey through the visit to u-School Research School. The results are as follows; (1) In case of frequency for the teacher’s use of the equipment during lesson, the ratio of teacher to use the computer appeared higher that of the other equipments. Regarding the effect of equipment utilization, understanding, interest and concentration were all found to be positive in both teacher and student. (2) The lesson of the teacher in computer room and u-Class Room was found to be mainly used to enhance the efficiency of the lesson where the equipment is involved. It was found that, as the advantage of u-Class Room, the use of a variety of equipment available in the u-Class Room greatly enhance interest and participation about the curriculum, while as the disadvantage, both of them meet with difficulty in the lesson when the equipment is failed, from which the matter of acquiring user-friendly and easy-accessible environmental design should be an important issue. (3) Regarding Ubiquitous educational environment facility, it was found most necessary for teacher to have network security system, while for student to have indoor environment control device, u-private box, learning terminal, etc. in order of priority.
