Analysis of Deep Space Channel Model Characteristics and Its Simulation

In order to set up a more precise deep space channel model,this paper mainly considers the impact of the stars revolution on communication channel and builds variable-parameter Rician channel model to simulate deep space communication channel,based on analyzing the deep space communication channel's characteristics.Moreover,this work analyses the influences of sun-earth-probe(SEP) angle changing continuously on channel characteristics in the case of low SNR through Matlab simulation tool.The simulation results show that Rician factor in the model varies with the SEP changing,and can present a more precise description of the fading characteristics of deep space communication transmission in outer space,which comes in with a really strong background on the reliable establishment of deep space communication links and proper selection of its modulation modes.
