Output Filter Design of Half Bridge Dual-buck Inverter Using Hysteresis Current Controller

Hysteresis current control method has the characters of simple implementation, a rapid dynamic response and unconditional stability. But this control method made the switching frequency varying widely. So it was difficult to design the output filter of the inverter. Almost no one has expressed how to design this kind of output filter. In this paper a design method of half bridge dual buck inverter's output filter based on hysteresis current control was presented. In this method how to choose the inductor optimally based on short circuit function and the voltage drop, how to choose the capacitor optimally based on resonant frequency and the compensation of reactive power, were presented. A 500VA prototype was designed. The results of the experiment verified the filter designed by this method had well effect, made the inverter have accurate the precision of voltage and high efficiency.
