Metastasis of bronchogenic adenocarcinoma to renal adenocarcinoma.

Metastasis of bronchogenic adenocarcinoma to renal adenocarcinoma occurred in a 79-year-old woman. The bronchogenic adenocarcinoma metastasized widely to various organs, whereas the renal adenocarcinoma was nonmetastatic. This case brings the total reported number of cancer-to-cancer metastases to 37. Renal adenocarcinoma was the recipient in 24, and bronchogenic carcinomas comprised one half of all donor cancers.
