Monitoreo de una planta solar a partir de sistemas de adquisición desarrollados con instrumentación virtual

This article describes the development of a system that allows monitoring, using Virtual Instrumentation, electricity generating Plants formed by photovoltaic modules. The acquisition and statistical processing of the collected data are made through Virtual Instruments developed based on I/O modular high precision Field Point type electronic systems and special programs developed with LabVIEW graphic programming software. The system has facilities to measure, permanently acquire and to visualize, in the screen, data giving information about the performance of the solar plant, as well as environmental parameters (radiation and temperature) plus the IV characteristic curve of the plant. This monitoring system has been in operation during the last two years and all its components have performed very well. 1. INTRODUCCION
