Fault-tolerant Architecture of NoC Based on Dual-port RNI

In order to solve the problem of IP core's communication of fault router in Network on Chip(NoC),this paper designs a dual-port Resource Network Interface(RNI) with low hardware overhead to connect each IP core to two routers by adding some links based on traditional 2D-mesh architecture,and proposes a fault-tolerant routing algorithm based on this architecture.Experimental results show that the scheme can effectively recover the communication of the IP cores with faulty router and improve the system's fault tolerance.At the same time,the hardware overhead of the architecture is very low.
