Some aspects of technology transfer - A case study

Abstract The paper presents some technical and social aspects of the technology transfer on the example of the Polish biggest ex-manufacturer of computers - Elwro. The history of Elwro is followed at its milestones - the launching of its leading products (computers) and the fall-down of the enterprise. Major technical and social aspects are discussed for each milestone. 2001 is the year in which the IFAC meeting was held.
