Continuous Use Intention of E-Government Portals the Perspective of Older Citizens

Thisstudyaimstoexaminetheeffectofperceivedvalue,perceivedbehaviouralcontrolandsocial influenceonoldercitizens’attitudetowarde-governmentportalsandtheircontinuoususeintention. Throughaquestionnairesurvey,primarydataarecollectedfrom123oldercitizensaged50andabove whousee-governmentportals.Thefindingsshowthatoldercitizensgenerallyhavepositiveattitude towarde-governmentportalsandarefavourableontheircontinuoususeintention.Oldercitizensrate cost,convenience,andinformationaccuracyasthemostimportantdimensionsofperceptionofvalue ofe-governmentportals.Allthethreedeterminantsofoldercitizens’attitudetowarde-government portalsarepositiveandstatisticallysignificant,withperceivedbehaviouralcontrolhavingthestrongest effectonattitude, followedbyperceivedvalueandsocial influence.Oldercitizens’attitudealso positivelyandstronglyrelatestotheircontinuoususeintentionofe-governmentportals.
