Evaluation of SEP-225289 transporter occupancy using positron emission tomography

Introduction: Monoamine reuptake inhibitors have many demonstrated and potential clinical applications as therapeutics for psychiatric and neurological disorders. SEP-225289 is a monoamine reuptake inhibitor that potentially inhibits reuptake at serotonin (SERT), norepinephrine, and dopamine (DAT) transporters. This open label Positron Emission Tomography (PET) study was conducted to investigate its occupancy at SERT and DAT.
