Application of GPRS/Web GIS Techniques in GPS Vehicle Location and Navigation System

This paper discusses the data-transferring problem in current GPS vehicle system, and analyzes some GPRS related technical issues. It presents a Web-published function frame of integrated traffic GIS based on GPRS communication platform. Moreover, the concrete solutions of some key problems on GIS information wireless-publication in mobile terminal are given. Simulated experiments show good results.
