AASHTO GUIDE FOR THE PLANNING, DESIGN AND OPERATION OF PEDESTRIAN FACILITIES
暂无分享,去创建一个
The first objective of this project is to compile the most relevant existing information related to pedestrian facilities, including the accommodation of pedestrians with disabilities, and provide a detailed review of each. The principle documents initially reviewed included such basic references as the AASHTO "Greenbook", FHWA MUTCD, TRB Highway Capacity Manual, ITE Transportation Planning and Engineering Handbooks, the Americans with Disabilities Act, ADAAG, Access ROW, and the Uniform Vehicle Code. The second objective, which is the current phase, has been to develop a guide for the planning, design and operation of pedestrian facilities that would serve as a companion piece to AASHTO's Guide for the Development of bicycle Facilities. At the present time all of the chapters are being drafted, reviewed and rewritten.
