Design of circuit of A/D converter of multi-channel data acquisition system based on CPLD

A new control system for high-speed A/D converter based on CPLD is presented.The control system achieves the operation on the concerted-control of A/D converter,multi-multiplexers and sampling-holders effectively by using CPLD sufficiently,the language of VHDL and Graphic Editor,and it can control the A/D convert more than 36 channels well.It also can relieve the work of CPU,improve the system's efficiency,simplify the software programming,and achieve modularity for the controlling.The high-speed A/D converter based on CPLD is applied for the real-time sampling in integration load characteristic data acquisition in power system.
